That reminds me. Some of you talked about the new Will Trent TV show that was going to be on this season. There was some talk about how good it would be and/or how much it would follow the books. But I never heard what you thought about it after it came on. Any thoughts or opinions?
I never read any of the books, so I'm curious about what those who have think.

Finished Shady Hollow by Juneau Black this morning finally. Lots of people love this series but I didn't enjoy the book all that much. The premise of mysteries set in a village of animals is fun but I kept getting hung up on logistics, like how does a moose physically run a cafe that serves creatures like mice? ![]() However, a friend loaned my Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt earlier in the week and I'm already two-thirds of the way through it--about an elderly woman who befriends an octopus in the aquarium she cleans at at night. Many themes of grief, loss, family and friendships.

I recently finished Louise Penney’s A World of Curiosities, The It Girl by Ruth Ware, The High Tide Club by Mary Kay Andrews, and The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearce. I really liked all of them.
