Hope you gals are relatively unaffected by any storms.

Looks like I'm already out of Kassandra's challenge. I followed her as far as the child's pose (ex1) and rejoined at the eagle arms (last ex)!

Vannie - Considering how much you like pilates I'm honored you would have tried to put up with it to help me.

Helen - Your pup is adorable!

Just finished day 1 Choose. Buff, did you not like the practice? I have no idea what activity to choose for the second part of the challenge. I feel like I do most types of movement. Hmm...I guess this is a time to do a short Pilates practice?!? It isn't new to me but flexible mind can mean doing things you don't love, huh?

You don't have to be fast, just keep moving forward.

I liked Day 1 just fine, but maybe there was too much extension for the lower back for buff?

I felt the same as you, Vannie, since I've tried so many forms of movement. I counted shoveling wet snow as my chosen movement. I probably could have cleaned as a new form of movement...

Haha on the cleaning!

I never did do a new type of movement. I'll add smthg on tmrw.

Ohh, I just figured out how to multi-quote. . It's not either of those things. Since I do any yoga last, it's mostly a stretch for me and I want to spend more time on the parts I just worked which is unlikely to happen in a random practice. So I did a pilates stretch today and was happier.

That makes sense, Buff. There are only certain yoga practices I will do after I run. But for the most part I consider yoga separate from my stretch. I will use this challenge like I did her previous morning one and the David O one I'm working through: as a gentle wakeup before any other workouts.

Yay on the multi-quote! That one took me a while to figure out too.
