All the Right Moves Grace Lazenby
This one was in my never-tried pile for forever. I might have done a section, but I can’t remember for sure. Anyway, the reviews are correct. The music is absolutely awful. The workout is tough, but there was something about the sequence that I found odd. I feel great, so that’s something. I don’t have any of her other stuff so I don’t know if other offerings were good. So strange. I can’t say I loved it, but I do feel wonderful. I think it was the music, to be honest, that was grating.

I've been doing a few oldies here and there this month.
Charlene Prickett's Get The Fat Off (from 1996, half low impact/half step) Both workouts were easier than I remember them being, but I enjoyed them! I like watching the fog bank gradually lift away during the step workout. Charlene Prickett's More Muscle Less Fat (from 1997, half low impact/half strength) Another enjoyable Charlene. I always laugh when Renee provides spoiler alerts ahead of more intense moves, or complains when it's time for them. Afterwards though Mom asked. "How in the world can you tolerate her chatter?" Charlene Prickett's Serious Curves (from 1993, upper only) I started with the warm-up from Cathe's Slow & Heavy Chest & Back, then popped in Serious Curves cued to the upper body work. (Don't want to burn out on Cathe before STS 2.0 comes out!) Not a bad upper body workout for a short amount of time, although I will sub bent over rows for the shrugs. Madeleine Lewis California Calorie Burner (1990) I recently picked this one up from eBay, as I've been curious about it for a while. Unfortunately, it was not up to my high expectations (Madeleine has done choreography for many of Kathy Smith's workouts, and I was expecting better). On one hand, her cueing, instruction, and personality were good, and I appreciated that the choreography was designed for small spaces (with some of the moves reminding me of Kathy's workouts). On the other hand, the latter is also a drawback as most of the moves seem to be repeated from section to section with little variation. And that big couch behind her probably also contributed to that. Plus, after the rhythmic warm-up (which I felt wasn't enough), she goes down to the floor for static stretches which IMHO is a no-no nowadays. I do like that she did the strength work before the cardio, which made the tape ahead of its time.

I have done Hamelin D'Abell's CardioTone G a few times recently. For some reason, it cheers me up. I like the music and his enigmatic smile.
(I admit that I don't use weights and don't always do the whole thing.)
