this thread IS on topic - we have an entire forum dedicated to recipes.

i have several cookbooks just for chocolate chip cookies. i recently made my first skillet chocolate chip cookie. i only had 1 mini skillet, and the other "containers" i used were ramekins.

all came out yummy, with a scoop of ice cream on top!

I like Trader Joe's chocolate chips, and they also have chocolate chunks. Aldi's chunks sound similar in quality.

I have used the chocolate chunks from Trader Joe's. I actually like the Belgian chocolate from Aldi more.

I have five people between the ages of 19 and 22 at my house right now.
You're welcome! Glad they were a hit!

What was the winning recipe??? I'm always on the lookout for more chocolate chip cookie recipes to test drive.

Thanks for the tip! They sound yummy and we do go by an Aldi's pretty often. I've just never ventured inside.

I will have to make a trip to Aldi’s then! We finally had one open up in our area. I’ve always preferred the TJ’s chips to any from the grocery store, and since both stores are owned by the same parent company, I wondered if they were similar.
