I bought her Gentle Yoga DVD after reading about it on this site and glad I did. I love how she has so many different practices of varying lengths on the DVD. You definitely get your money's worth. And don't let the word Gentle fool you. The first time I did one I was like "What! This is gentle!" I don't normally do yoga so I found it challenging but not over whelming.

Oh - well, that's good to know! I have her in my wish list, but maybe I'd be better sticking with the "Senior" one because I actually do want my yoga to be gentle. (It's actually rather frustrating when you buy something with "gentle" or "beginner" or something like that in the title and it turns out it's not.)

I love the scenery and everything looks so peaceful.

I get more use out of the Gentle Yoga DVD because the practices are shorter and can be used as add-ons. They are both very peaceful and soothing DVDs.

I find the Gentle Yoga dvd to be just right. I'm currently overweight & out-of-shape, nursing a knee healing from surgery. I have gotten a LOT of use from this dvd lately! Even though some parts can be challenging (especially the balance practice), I think this is definitely for beginners.

I wish we had a time frame for when to expect this new dvd! DH and I have agreed on a No-buy July...but I might have to put in this addendum to our plan!

I agree - Gentle Yoga is very gentle, but you will know that you've done something when you finish.

Does anyone have both Gentle and Senior? Is Senior much more gentle than Gentle, or around the same? I can get Senior from my library, but not Gentle. This will give me some kind of guideline.

It's hard, because I'm at the very beginning part of beginning. I need to remember that I will get better and stronger - even if some "gentle" is now beyond my grasp, it won't be for long. =)

I have them both, although I tend to only use Gentle Yoga because the practices are shorter. As best I remember, Senior Yoga is easier. Here's a link that might help:
