OT: Problems with regular mail

Please delete if this not allowed. I’m wondering if anyone else is having issues with VERY slow regular mail? I sent a dvd (Request the wealth) on Monday March 9th and the person has not received it yet (today is March 21). I also requested a dvd and the kind sender promptly put it in the mail but I haven’t gotten it either. I’m still getting junk mail of course and a few other things. Has anyone else run into this issue? I’m not talking about Amazon, just regular mail.

I’m actually surprisingly having the opposite happen. There have been delays from the essential oil companies I made purchases from but once they actually shipped/handed the products to USPS the shipments arrived one to two days earlier than the initial delivery dates posted.

Our mailbox has been empty for the past few days. Some even look like they have been broken in to. (This is normal around here.) Our rural carrier is a contract worker. He/she could even be ill. Who knows?

I'm sure if the government starts sending out paper checks, there will be a huge mail theft problem.

The USPS has a program, Informed Delivery Daily Digest where you receive an email based on what’s supposed to be delivered that day.

It also lets you report pieces of mail that weren’t delivered.

I'm sure that a lot of stuff that went by air is now going by ground. I ordered some dvds from Mary and was surprised to see such a long delivery time, but then I thought about it. I think we just need to learn patience again.
