I don’t understand why the mail is so slow. Cards/letters are taking 10-12 days, although for some reason, packages are moving fairly quickly.

Shipping rates and postcard stamps and everything in between are going up. You still have a week to stock up on forever stamps! i'm still using mine that I bought in 2007.

In my experience, there's little price difference between Media Mail and First Class if you're mailing only one DVD. The more DVDs you send, the more MM makes sense. (I've been using PayPal/ShipStation to send my packages for years now.)

These data are from last year, but U.S. postage is still a bargain compared to other countries.
