I always use paypal to ship via USPS because you get a slight discount.
For instance, a 5oz 1st class package/envelope from IL to VA apparently would cost $4.53 if I mailed from the post office counter. But if I print a paper shipping label online via paypal, the 5oz package is only $3.28 and comes with free tracking, which still more than the $2-something it used to be via paypal, but better than $4.53. Plus, by printing the postage at home and taping it on the package myself, I can just leave the package in my mailbox for the mailperson to pick up the next day or I can drop it in the inside drop off bin at the local PO vs. having to go up to the post office counter. I just print on regular paper with a regular printer. But you have to have a paypal account as far as I know. The link I use is https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...de_optout=true |
