You eventually progress to Level 3, but if your balance is good already, you can jump there and its shorter then lower levels. Works great for my purposes.
Thank you, I just bought this! I love Jane's yoga videos.

Some favorite short strength parts:
Beachbody's Great Body Guaranteed - all 10m
Tamilee Webb's I Want That Body - all 15m
Gilad (both Express and QuickFit) - 10-20m
Suzanne Bowen's 10 Minute Solution Blast Body Fat (UK only) - all 10m

I'd do a short strength segment in the morning, and do walking + yoga in the afternoon. Your schedule may differ of course.

I'm way into yoga, but I also like lifting heavier weights. Several times, I've planned rotations to combine the two on the same day, but I don't usually end up doing them (see below). My thought is that I'd like to work one or two muscle groups, for a short workout, combined with short yoga practices. Charlotte Ord's Back to Basics and Jari's Ripped & Jacked fit the bill for this - they have body parts chaptered into quite short workouts.

(The main reason I don't end up doing that is because I take a lot of live classes. Those are later in the day, separate from my morning DVD workouts. So I end up doing non-yoga workouts 3-4 days a week with yoga classes later on those days, then on non-class days I often do a longer yoga practice.)

I like this schedule, too! These days, I get antsy if my workouts go longer than 30 minutes! Maybe splitting them would help.

Thanks for reminding me of Jari's workout. I never considered it because I preferred total body workouts (and that one's just too long in its entirety). But I've been doing muscle groups + yoga and just figuring I'll hit everything eventually. Adding that Jari to my wishlist!

Hi all, I haven't been on video fitness for quite some time and just came on to look up this very topic. Been teaching and doing almost daily yoga but I feel I am losing strength - particularly in lower body. Thanks for all the recommendations! I'm planning to do about 10-15 min lower or full body before my yoga on Wed, Fri, Sun (days I don't teach).

Here are some I had found in my collection & used:
- Firm aerobic body shaping with Allie: 10 minute lower body bonus
- JNL fusion 10 minute total body
- some of my old 10 minute solution (Jessica smith ult. Bootcamp: total body; michelle dozois carb burner: with metabolic booster)
- 10 minute torchers w bj gaddour

Sometimes I'll go for 2 in a row, if I'm feeling energetic.

That looks like a great rotation, and I'm glad to hear that it's working out for you. I may steal your idea and follow that template next week. This week I did a massive purge and reorganization, and I keep getting distracted by DVDs I had forgotten about.

I'm with you on your love for Jane Adams yoga. She's the best!
