John Garey Pilates (JGTV) - thoughts?

With the COVID quarantine, I have slowed down the intensity of my workouts and discovered Pilates. I'm loving it! John Garey showed up on my youtube recommendations; he seems so cheerful and SO FIT !! Does anyone do his monthly subscription? or just freebies? your thoughts?
TIA!
-Anita

I've done numerous youtube freebies (love his "tips") and many of his Stott dvd programs. He is possibly my favorite pilates instructor (esp for equipment)

If I had the option to stream, he would be at the top of that list.

Yes, he is very good. I still do the two older Kathy Smith Pilates workouts and she was trained at his studio.

Thanks for this thread, I don't use a reformer but may try out his beginner mat workout.

He is buff! Nice looking too, nice voice and I like that he has his dog in the videos with him.

Thanks everyone! He has a summer promo of 50% off ... I'll look into further.

I subscribe for the reformer workouts. He has a lot besides pilates, and just added some spin classes. I think there is a one-week trial. It is easy to unsubscribe, so it is worth checking out!

I subscribed to the mat content for a while. I really liked him and the workouts. I’ll probably sign up again some time.

Yeah, but the dogs lay around and don't do any exercise

Technically, they are doing a modified version of downward facing dog. It's actually very complicated and my dog works tirelessly to perfect it
