Happy Mother’s Day!

Today’s workouts:
Bad Yogi Twisty Hippy Flow
Tamilee’s challenge - 3 sets of 10 side leg lifts with band (standing)

Afternoon:
Joanie Greggains Phenomenal Abdominals - floor work section
Yoga with Joelle 10 min flow

Gardening- I discovered knee pads and what a difference this makes! I can almost say I enjoyed weeding! Mamacita (our robin's nest) is used to me and doesn't fly away when I'm out front. I speak to her very softly and tell her she's safe here. Looking forward to the baby robins!!!!

Pat: Happy birthday, Pat! Hope you’re enjoying your day with those you love!

Waves to Donna, Summer Breeze and Pam! Hope all enjoyed the weekend and the holiday!

Good morning and Happy Moan Day. I hope those who celebrate had a happy Mother's Day. My yesterday featured:

~ Lee Holden 30 Day Challenge - Day 8
~ A Kassandra restorative yin
~ GYM for 20/20/20 recumbent/elliptical/recumbent
~ 5,327 steps

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful day and get some outdoor activity, with one exception - the unbelievable wind! I was trying to hang towels out on the line and the wind was wrapping them around me and the gusts were pushing me backward.

Summer Breeze, this whacky weather is totally demotivating!

Diane, thank you for the Mamacita update. I'm not surprised she is more tolerant of you.

Good morning to Donna and Pam. Make it a great day everyone!

Hi Everyone,

Here's my catch up for the last few days!

Sat - - LWR - Feel Amazing Challenge - Days 4 & 5; Yoga w/ Bird - 7 Day Yoga Challenge Day # 6

Sun - Burpee Girl Short Workouts - 20 Min Tone & Burn (from 4/29/22); Pilates Nest - Rise & Shine Retreat Day 1

Mon - Lively Ladies - Energy Boosting Walk (from 5/2/22); Caroline Sandry - 30 Days to Flat Abs Day 1, Yoga w/ Bird - 7 Day Yoga Challenge Day # 7

We had a busy and somewhat hectic weekend which was alternated w/ taking naps on Saturday b/c I was exhausted!

Another crazy week at work begins.

Our bathroom remodel starts on Thursday, hopefully it will be done by Memorial Day.

The Burpee Girl was a new-to-me channel - she has two channels - one has longer workouts and one has shorter workouts. These seem to be all done in the current style of You Tube workouts w/ music only and no vocal cueing. It was fun for a change of pace.

Hope everyone has a good start to the week!

Pat - Happy Belated B'day!!!

Happy Monday everyone!

Today was a busy day so far. Workout first:
Cathe's Low Impact Step
Tamilee's Challenge - 3 sets of 10 rear leg lifts with band
Annie Pilates for Piriformis
2 1/2 mile walk on bike path while DH ran

We're going out to put some edging on our front garden so I'm looking forward to this as it's been on my to-do list for quite some time. I won't forget my knee pads!

Pat: We had some wind here as well. Thankfully we haven't had the intense heat that the middle part of the country is getting but hotter temps are headed our way! I love my Mamacita - I think she is now feeding babies. It's hard to tell from the window but it sure looks that way. Also, Papacito is flying around and keeping an eye! Mother Nature is so wonderful!

Hi to Summer Breeze, Pam & Donna!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day!

Good morning!!

Yesterday:

44 minute outdoor walk
push-ups and plank

Finally a lovely May day yesterday though somewhat windy. Today looks lovely too but I have a hair appt this morning and may not want to sweat up the 'do afterwards.
I'll see how it goes.

Waves to all!

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning all! Moan Day was just that. I accomplished day 9 of my Lee Holden challenge but felt progressively worse and more fatigued as the day wore on. Allergies? Autoimmune? Who knows. I'll try to perk up today.

I'm meeting my niece, and my grandniece who is moving back home from Vermont! for lunch later so I better cram some work into my schedule.

Everyone have a wonderful spring day.

Hi Everyone,

Like Pat - yesterday was a real "Moan"day for me!

Today's workouts:

Burpee Girl Short Workouts - 25 Min Burn & Tone - (from 5/9/2022)
Caroline Sandry - Total Body Pilates - Total Body Section

Burpee Girl is nice for a change of pace, and I haven't seen one burpee in her videos. It is mostly body weight cardio/tone - barefoot style - no impact and uses very little space. There is no verbal cueing, just music but it is easy enough to follow.

Oh - yesterday I did get out to walk w/ my DD and Golden. It was a lovely evening.

Sorry for the quick post - busy day ahead!

Good evening!!!

Another beautiful day. I have Angel the dog to care for this afternoon but after that we’re getting on our bikes. But, for now, here’s morning workout:

Cathe’s Total Body Sculpting – very easy, simple, beginner weights. She uses a stability ball throughout the workout and, next to kickboxing, stability balls are my next dislike!
Pushups
Tamilee’s Challenge – 4 sets of 10 with resistance band – Sumo Squats, Firewalkers, Standing Leg Lifts, Rear lifts.
Bad Yogi’s Yoga for Hips
Afternoon: 6+ mile bike ride followed by a Bad Yogi practice (Checkpoint 1, part of her Resolution set)

Summer Breeze: We’re having spectacular weather so I’m planning on riding my bike every single day I can! The only problem is my piriformis is acting up in my right glute and my bike seat hits it right there – ouch.

Pat: Hope your lunch date was fun!

Donna: Going to check out Burpee Girl!

Waves to Pam! See you all tomorrow!
