Is FASTING Diet talk?

Hi,

I was listening to someone on YouTube about fasting and I wanted to ask how do you do your exercise while fasting?

How does that work or does not work when exercising.

I will delete if this is not allowed.

So you do this every day and you still have enough energy to complete your workout?

Or do you only do it on certain days?

I was thinking about fasting but thought where am I going to have enough energy to workout.

If I don’t have energy, I’m too weak to exercise and I don’t do the best job.

I exercise first thing. I get nauseous if I eat anything before I exercise.

I was wondering how the people who do intermittent fasting specifically affects their exercise energy.

Not the regular after you sleep fast. Those longer ones

I think there is a guide on how to do this of which I’ve not book, so that’s why I’m asking for first hand live info on it. You know, real people. Lol

Here are some books that were recommended to me ( I think by Candice )
Feast Without Fear: Food and the Delay, Don't Deny Lifestyle
by Gin Stephens, Dr. Kelley Kacergis (Paperback)

Delay, Don't Deny: Living an Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle
by Gin Stephens, Dr. Kenneth Power (Paperback)

But a couple of things, there is not just a daily time fast option. There is another fast method that lowers your calorie intake on days when you know your activity demand is lower. You eat normal times on high activity days.

I think the biggest thing that can make it successful is knowing whether your natural activity level matches this cycle. Some people would not work well with this.

Here's the best thing explanation of why it works and how it works well for this guy

I think if I tried to answer you more then this I would be crossing the diet lines so I'll stop here.

For me, I have to workout having eaten at least SOMETHING, whether it's just a smoothie or cereal. I tried intermittent fasting earlier this summer and it did not jive with my life or metabolism.

Flanofladyvos,

I think I’m not asking the right way.

So what I see, no one does it with giving an explaination on how it works for exercise. As in how they feel, are they powered enough, when do they do it, how long, how many times a. Week.

I’ll skip it. Thanks all I really was not interested in eating. Just the energy level of people who fast and counting their sleep hours as part of the fast.

Good to know. I did my first 24 hours and I see I can do it again. But I didn’t exercise today either. 🤨. I found I wanted to eat and when I did I didn’t feel like exercising. I hope this doesn’t happen all the time. Thank you 😊 I probably missed window when I would have been in the best glucose using mode.
