Must be in the air

Lili: Maybe it's the changing leaf color, the shorter days, the cooler air? I dunno. Going into hibernation mode? (making us have low energy days.) At any rate, does sound like your run was great. Doesn't that feel good?

Waves to Helen and all who may be reading.

I have to post and run as I have to get to work. Dilly dallied too long this a.m. and therefore, did NOT get a workout in. That's not good. It means I have to do it tonight after work. MUST keep up my energy and do it.

10/11/2021: 20 mins. beginner ride with Bradley Rose, 10 mins. Core with Rad, 10 minutes Glutes and legs with Robin Arzon and 20 mins. legs with Callie (new-ish instructor).

Not a bad stack. I liked Callie's workout. Don't really remember it now, but I remember liking it.

Make it a great day!

Cleda - the cooler temps are definitely helping! Glad you got your workout in after work, it can be a challenge.

10/12 - dog walk
GHU's No Repeats Low Impact Strength workout
a 30 minute high energy walk from GHU, can't remember the name.
10/13 - 3.65 mile hike
I'm hoping for a dog walk after dinner.

Not a lot to report

But don't want to fall too far behind!

Lili: Some days I have no problem getting in a workout after work. Other days? True struggle! and even other days? No way in heck!

Waves to Helen and anyone reading.

Now, where am I?

10/12/2021: World Mental Health meditation (10 mins.)

10/13/2021: 15 mins. Scenic Ride **, 30 mins. Sam Yo Disney Ride, 5 mins. cool down, 5 mins. post ride stretch (all of these were AFTER work since I slept too late to do it BEFORE work)

10/14/2021: Row 20 mins, pickleball clinic, meditation before bed

** I saw my friend on this ride and I hopped in to support her and give high 5s. Only to realize after I got into the ride? It wasn't my friend with her new Peloton, but someone with a similar name. OOOPS ... Luckily it was only a 15 mins. ride cuz at that point? I was committed. ha! ha! ha!

That's it. Have to run and get chores done.
Make it a great day.

10/14 - 2 dog walks
Jessica's Barefoot Fusion Flow?
10/15 - KCM's Stepboxing 2 - I got this from the library and liked it. She didn't have a modifier in this one, but I know how to modify, so not a big deal.
That was it!

Hubby is away for a few days and I don't think I can handle walking all 3 dogs at once, so I have to wait until my son is available to distract 1 or 2 dogs while I take the other one(s) out. It's much more complicated than it needs to be.

Cleda - that's funny that it turned out to be the wrong person on your ride! I'm sure you made the most of it!
Waves to Helen and anyone else!

I've had a big week - 9-11 hour days every day this week.
We go back to in-person after this coming week. Hopefully that makes for less work-time.

Anyway...
LILI
Did you find KCM's Stepboxing super fast?
Hope the dog-walking worked out ok.
Any reasons you can pin-point for the low energy?

CLEDA
You too, on the low-energy - anything you can identify?
Sticking with the meditation I see!

My week - such as it was:
Sunday 10th - Ellen Barrett - Slim Sculpt + dog walk
Monday 11th - Cathe - Step Boss - Step Sync + dog walk
Tuesday 12th - dog walk
Wednesday 13th - C25k - Week 1 x2, with Alice. FINALLY remembered to remove them from the playlist, and they were the last two, so onto Week 2! (HOW many years has it been???)
Thursday 14th
C25k - Week 2, just the one, threatening rain, with Alice.
Cathe - The Terminator - Imax Extreme, finally; and paused a couple of times, but not as excruiating as I had dread about
Friday 15th - dog-walk.
Saturday
Cathe - Shock Cardio - Step Moves, 6", shall do 8" next time as it was VERY doable.
C25k - Week 2, again, just 1, howling wind, with Alice.

Sunday - planning a play date with buddy for our dogs, & already set to do Jillian Michaels - Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. (DONE)

Other
Bridget had some ups & downs with finding a new place to live in Sydney, but is all set now, leafy suburb, share-house with 3 others in a lovely old house with a back-yard, veggie patch, leafy suburb.... that is NOT a "falling down, cheap student-house"; and within her budget.

DH's birthday tomorrow (65, eGAD!) so need to do preparations today. We're going out to dinner on the 28th (after Bridget has had her 2nd shot) to the rooftop restaurant in a 5-star hotel, converted from the previous Council building & overlooks city's main park. Curious about the make-over, and having a roof-top view should be nicer than a typical restaurant. Neither Bridget nor I enjoy dining out, but DH does.

So I'm settling into a sunny Sunday, need to go & make Vegan Chocolate Icecream for DH. Doesn't like cake, but LOVES ice-cream, so it'll be his birthday treat. The 'vegan' bit is for Bridget.

Sorry it's been a full week since checking in, but I sit at the computer, and multiple screens loom at me with WORK to do.... Still haven't done a whole batch of admin I'm supposed to.

Helen - sounds like a lovely birthday dinner for hubby! I'm not sure about vegan ice cream, but it's nice that you are making everyone happy.
I don't think I ever tried the Terminator. The name alone scared me off.
I think my low energy is from poor sleep. I usually sleep better when hubby is away, but not this time.

10/16 - just a dog walk
10/17 - GHU's Gold Yoga Tune Up, Back and Hamstrings
Dog walk, which is a workout in itself, trying to keep 3 dogs straight!

3+ mile run, same place as last week, still enjoyed it. My Fitbit stopped working during the run, so I don't know exact distance, as I went farther than last week. Still fiddling with Fitbit to get it back to full function.

10/20 - dog walk
KCM's StepBoxing 2, w/o 2
Jessica's Cardio Party
10/21 - dog walk
KCM's Your Best Body, w/o 2
Leslie's 30 min. Advanced Walk

We are picking up the grandkids soon and will have them all weekend, so I'm not sure how many real workouts I'll manage.
