Over Fifty Fitness -- new platform

PJ (from Youtube) has launched a fitness platform for those over 50. It's a paid site -- $29.99 per month or $299 per year. There is a free 14-day trial. And that's all I know!

I'll be interested to hear what people think if they try this. I'll be 51 this summer but don't necessarily feel I need or want workouts made for "over 50." I think the price is a little bit high depending on the quality and variety of workouts offered.

Looks like the cost is STARTING at US$20 per month. I don't know what "starting" means. Are there different levels of paid membership? It may be worth the 14-day trial to find out. Thank you for posting the link aquakat!

I went to look and see if they had any chair workouts. Here is a remark from the website
"At Over Fifty Fitness we know that a gazillion lunges won’t serve you, but you also shouldn’t be given workouts so watered down that your dead grandmother could do them."
I think that is a little insensitive especially since I am a 72 year old grandma.

Yikes, that messaging sounds kind of in poor taste, and that price is REALLY high.

Ha, I saw this and laughed since my grandmother would be 122 years old and she is definitely dead.

I laughed too. PJ does have a sarcastic and warped sense of humor!

The "dead grandmother" comment is PJ's way of saying the workouts aren't what one usually thinks of when someone says "over-50 workouts" or "senior workouts." Things to know about her: she is sassy and sarcastic, she is self-deprecating, she swears, and she doesn't use background music.

I just looked at the website and this is on the opening page:
"Workouts [and more] for the over 50 body that won’t hurt… and aren’t lame."

Editing to add that it's $20/mo if you pay for a year. Otherwise it's $24.99/mo.
