Vannie, I'm glad Matt's video helped. Awesome that you got such a good report from your PT. I can relate to the part about muscles not always knowing what to do. I feel like I have a very mechanical body.

So far March is coming in like a lion, cold and windy. Yesterday I did segments of Ryan Lochte's hardcore. The warm up is a nice shoulder/arm workout just your own weight. I felt a nice burn doing it. I haven't decided yet what to do for today's workout. It's too windchill type cold to do a whole lot outside. Our dining room table has become an out of control table of dumping so I plan on spending some time getting some of that organized and maybe getting a few more pieces of clothing in the box for the thrift store.

Katie, I really liked Matt's hip pain while side sleeping video. Definitely will keep it in the rotation with Caroline Jordan. Who is Ryan Lochte?

No workouts as I’ve been taking medication dealing with teeth pain. I had a second root canal on Monday. But so far other teeth are okay. I was pain free a couple of days ago, but one tooth is bothering me today. I guess it takes awhile to completely heal the irritation from root canals.

I have a new dentist recommended by my endodontist. He was very thorough in the exam. He comes highly recommended. The dentist wants me to get a mouth guard from a TMJ specialist. Katie, you mentioned you went to a TMJ specialist. Did you get a mouth guard? Was it expensive? I don’t have insurance so not sure I can afford extensive treatment.

Sherry, Bless your heart. I hope this new dentist helps you to feel better.

Katie, We have snow on the ground. It is so weird for us this time of year. Our dining room table is also a catchall these days. We plan to clean it off spring break. We'll see.

Vannie, I am always shocked at what I can find on Amazon. My DD's birthday is soon. I love that I can go to her Amazon wish list and get her exactly what she wants.

Vannie, the hip pain while side sleeping has become part of my rotation as well. It has been really helping me. Ryan Lochte is an Olympic swimmer(retired) that won a lot of medals. He did a workout video with one of his training coaches...no weights or resistance bands. I enjoy pulling it out once in a while and pick and choose through some of the workouts. It's pretty straight forward.

Sherry, I'm so sorry you're going through this! The TMJ specialist I saw was a non-surgical one. He did a great eval on my bite and jaw joint and recognized some things that my dentist wasn't. Basically I needed a new dentist. He also gave me some printed information on habits and some exercises(including the N one I told you about earlier) and went over it with me. The N exercise/habit saved my bacon. I did not need a mouth guard or surgery, mostly a better dentist to correct some earlier poor care and some new habits. I don't have dental insurance either. For a while my care was really expensive but the status quo was unacceptable so I had to get through it. My dental care, once things got on a better path, has been very minimal and costs very little. I hope this info helps you and this cycle of pain can be done!

MT, I'm amazed at how much snow you and other people I know in that area are getting! You all have more than we do at this point but I swear we didn't send it to you!

Along with youtube clips, mostly Upright Health, I did Jill Miller YTU Fix, for hands, wrists and forearms.

Katie, I'm trying to remember, didn't you also find Jill's YTU neck quick fix helpful with your TMJ or was that more for your neck after going through all the dental stuff?

Thanks Katie. I hope to get an appointment soon. I don’t have symptoms of TMJ, but I do grind my teeth. I’m certain I need a mouth guard, I’ve used OTC for years. But I’m sure I need additional help from the TMJ specialist. I’m glad you didn’t need a mouth guard and the better dentist corrected everything. The endodontist recommended this new dentist, who comes highly recommended, and he recommended the TMJ specialist. I guess I better get the credit card out again!

Fortunately only one tooth is bothering me currently. It’s the original one from December, the bite is off and it’s very sore. The endodontist wants me to let it heal and get it adjusted. The new dentist wants me to get a mouth guard first before he will adjust it. Crossing my fingers the nerve doesn’t go bad before all this happens. It’s sore frequently. But the rest of my mouth is okay thankfully. Hopefully I didn’t jinx myself lol.

Vannie, yes, there were a couple exercises in the YTU neck quick fix and also the shoulder segment that were helpful. The massage therapy kit was also good both neck and shoulders.

Sherry, I sure hope you can get the right team to get you back on track. Thankfully, I only needed to see the TMJ specialist once. I've never seen an endodontist before.

We had a power outage this morning for about 4 hours. DH and I made good use of the time. He cleaned off the coffee table(his table of dumping). Who knew there were 6 pens underneath all that paper. lol I worked on the dining room table(my territory). I got a lot done but still more to do.

Hey, guys! Not sure why I haven't posted. I guess I spend too much time playing word games, Sudoku and logic problems when I'm at the computer! We had a great time on our snowshoeing trip. We didn't put in as many miles as in the past but that's okay. It was good to get away with hubby and see him relax and enjoy himself for a few days anyway. And we had our white chocolate chai! Workouts have been going well and I even ran on the hotel treadmill Monday after snowshoeing in the morning. I've run twice outside since we got home and it was awesome.
