Speaking as somebody who just got stitches in a bad cut, along with two vaccines (tetanus & influenza), and went for a run yesterday b/c I thought I felt fine... and ended up totally overdoing it, cutting the run short, & feeling like crap (run down & mildly sickish & headachy) the rest of the day...
DON'T DO IT! I learned my lesson, and I'm not even SICK. Tomorrow is the next scheduled run, and I'm planning a rest day instead. What everyone else has said is so true: Your body is working hard HEALING, and doesn't need any additional stress from you to make it harder. ...I can only conclude that the OP's judgement is compromised due to illness (that happens to me; things seem totally reasonable sometimes when I'm sick, that I would easily talk myself out of on a normal day!).

If I have a mild cold that's entirely above the neck AND I feel energetic enough I do a light workout. I would definitely not exercise with a stomach flu. It seems to me that dehydration could be a real hazard. Sometimes if I'm recovering from something, and I'm not sure about exercise I substitute some house cleaning or light yard work or a leisurely walk to the store just to get in some activity.
