1. I am in complete awe of Gin Miller. I absolutely adore her.

2. How did I not know these existed? What an amazing idea!

I have seen them, but I thought they needed an special step platform? Hers looks like the regular step, are them the same size as regular risers? TIA

My special risers for holding my bench as an incline stack perfectly with my regular risers and fit perfectly with my club-style bench.

If these are the square freestyle step risers, they are interchangeable with the risers that come with a regular full size step. A nice alternative to bulkier slanted risers since the freestyle risers can work as both regular risers or slanted.

I have both the slanted risers (got a great closeout deal on these years ago on wayfair or somewhere online) and the freestyle risers in addition to regular risers. I got the free style risers about a year ago by buying a freestyle step on amazon when the price dropped--you can put out an alert on camelcamelcamel.com to be notified of price drops. Anyways, so now I have two steps and tons of risers. I kind of wanted a new club step anyway since my old club step has the ribbed surface on top which is less comfortable when you're using your step platform as a weight bench.

I've never used either the slanted risers or freestyle risers to do any ramping type workouts or anything; I got them to make a more stable base for upper body incline weight work.

But yes, the freestyle risers are exactly like a regular full club step riser, with the added benefit of being able to use as incline risers, etc.

I started the process to purchase them but the shipping is almost as much as the risers! I'm going to have to pass but damn that's a great idea!

Thank you both for the info, really helpful!! I also want to use them for upper body incline work.

I was just going to post this:

https://www.thestep.com/Health-Clubs...al-Step-Blocks

it's the Universal Step Riser. It allows you to put it on an angle not just for weight work like Cathe's angled riser, but it's stable enough that you can use it for a cardio ramp -- either the short way or long way. Pretty clever, but I think my life is complete without it.
