Happy Mother's Day to all!!

Yesterday was a washout. Hoping to get out today and walk before the rains return.

DIANE, thank you for the info on Erin Motz. I will look into her practices.

PAT, sunshine and hugs are always needed and appreciated. Thank you!!

DONNA, using it enough is indeed the question. Don't go by me unfortunately. I rarely used it so far but then I'm no where near as consistent as you

CHRISTINA, enjoy your weekend!

Hi ROSE!

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day.

DS is coming by today, we postponed because he had a hawk rescue emergency. All good, it's even nicer today for walking. I went to the beach solo and had a nice reflective walk. It was so blustery though - had to get the down coat and big scarf out again. Also some back therapy, inversion, 6,500 steps for the day.

Everyone be well and enjoy your day!

Happy Mother's Day to all! I'm including all us animal moms!

I was tired today so I just did my pushups, Bad Yogi's Perfect Body Resolution Full Body and abs strength workout, then yoga. More yoga this afternoon - maybe.

Everyone enjoy the day!!!

Happy Moan Day! I hope those who celebrate Mother's Day had a wonderful day.

DS and I had a nice time searching out osprey nests and having a nature walk at a trail. After I did some back therapy; 7,500 steps for day. It was nice to see him without a wide social distance and he actually came in the house for a nice catching up chat and some snacks.

Sigh, back to the grind. Roll eyes! I will check back later!

Hi Everyone,

I think I forgot to post yesterday....

Ellen - Prayer Flow
Outdoor walk - it cleared up enough for DD and i to take one of our longer outdoor walks. We also picked up take out from a new (to us) restaurant. It was a little pricey, but good food!

Today was:

Lucy Wyndham- Read (LWR) - Feel Fabulous for Summer (FFS) Challenge Day 1 -

This was an 11 min cardio/tone - all body weight. But surprising raised my HR and an 8 min standing abs routine.

She is offering another free challenge this month and I decided to try it out since i'm at loose ends about what I want to do workout-wise these days.

You do repeat the cardio workout for 6 days but the toning workout is different for each day.

https://www.lwrfitness.com/summer-ready-challenge/

So, we shall see how long I stick with it.

I added in Caroline Jordan's Recovery Day workout for some stretching.
And, if time and weather permit, I'll probably go for a walk later.

Diane - thanks for mentioning Erin/Bad Yogi again - she put a 30 day playlist of some of her studio workouts on You Tube...so I am planning on trying some here and there. I do remember enjoying her when I did her original 30 day challenge some years ago!

Pat - Happy Belated B'day!!! It sounds like you had a nice day w/ your DS. it is Moan day for sure, all I want to do is go back to bed.

Waves Christina, Summer Breeze and Rose!

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

52 minute outdoor walk

I did manage to walk yesterday before the rains came. We went out for a lovely Mother's Day dinner. I wasn't quite ready for that but it did turn out to be lovely. Our original plan was to eat outdoors but the rain took care of that. My DS suggested we could leave but it was so thoughtful of them to want to take me out to celebrate that I chose to not worry and enjoy myself. It wasn't as crowded as Mother's Day usually is so I decided to go with it. I am planning a walk today.

PAT, sounds like a lovely time with your DS.
Happy belated Birthday! I somehow missed that important nugget

DONNA, sounds like a lovely time with your DD for your Mother's Day. Thanks for the link to LWR's challenge. She's always easy to fit into the schedule.

DIANE, yoga and resting is always a good plan when you're tired.

Waves to all. Have a wonderful day.

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

56 minute outdoor walk

I am planning a walk for today (maybe more?). I am meeting my friend for lunch.
We were supposed to go last week after our walk together but she came over too late and we didn't have time for lunch before she had to leave for work. So I'm walking on my own today .

Waves to all. Have a wonderful day!

Good morning!

And what a morning. We've been up since 4am as DH is having his colonoscopy. His last one "didn't take" so this time it has been almost 3 days of prep. You can bet he's happy to get this over with! And, frankly, so am I!

So, yesterday was my cardio day - treadmill run, followed by yoga. I usually do a second practice in the afternoon but had to drop off one of my cats for overnight fasting at the vet and tests this morning. If we even tried to fast her at home, we would have been up all night. She's losing her hearing and SCREAMS all the time when she's hungry - you can only imagine!

Today was my non-Bad Yogi strength day - I did an oldie but goodie - Power 90 Sculpt 1-2 and pushups.

Donna - You're welcome re: Bad Yogi/Erin! Yesterday, as part of her Perfect Body Resolution, I did a wonderful Yin Yoga for hips. I just love how she puts practices together!

Have a wonderful day everyone! We're off and running far too early!

Hi Everyone,

Last night my DD and I went for a walk - I like walking in the evenings, it is very relaxing/calming.

Today, so far, has been:

Ellen - Ballet Sculpt
Ellen - Quick Cardio
Jessica Valent - Herniated Disc Routine Part 1

I may do a LWR workout this afternoon or maybe walk again.

Diane - oh gosh, good luck to your DH. I can't even imagine a 3 day prep! I must investigate Bad Yogi further!

Summer Breeze - hope you had a nice lunch.

Waves, Pat, Christina and Rose!
