But, just to workout at home in, they are my favorite! Or, to take out the garbage in, they're just fine. Ha, if that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is?!

I hate heavy material, or workout clothes that are too tight. And, these were just right. Came in traditional solid colors of grey, navy, and black.

I haven't seen them in the stores anymore, otherwise I'd have bought a dozen more. And, no one would know these were men's, since there is no fly! I bet I've had them at least a dozen years, or maybe more?
Pam, you may like these from Wal-Mart. My son wears them:

I'm looking for sweatpants that won't turn into knickers the first time I wash them.

Thank you, Sherry! I've seen these, but would not get them because of the button fly! They look like they are made out of very similar material though, and same shape and form.

The ones I got at Target had a Merona tag in the waistband. So, maybe I could do some sort of search for them that way!

I have a long torso and I can't stand pants that bite me in the crotch. I like the Fruit of the Loom MEN's Fleece Open Bottom Sweatpant with Pockets. They do not have a button or fly (they aren't pajamas). They sell them at Walmart and also at Amazon.

Lol! The dark side of cotton.

Maybe also check for "track pants." I went into Big 5 a couple of years ago looking to replace some old-school sweatpants I'd bought there in the 90s and the manager threw out that term.

My younger son bought some for me for Christmas this year -- with a little help from his girlfriend's mom. They did great!

American Eagle -- they are so soft on the inside!
