of the 3 in my collection, the widest circumference band worked best.

That would probably be like having to change weights constantly in a workout where they expect you to stick with 1 size. Too me, not a god experience. But i would try for practice atleast, maybe just doing that part to strengthen the stabilizing areas that are weak? Then you could do the actual ractice without (depending on your issues, of course. But that is the type of thing I would need it in as well as I never think to just randomly do planks, etc.. I love the concept, I just have to remember to do things aside from my set workout room times. Why that is so hard for me, I do not know. I need to change that anyway, as I workout late at night and can't seem to make my brain or body work tip around 3pm or so. My clock is so backwards (and there she goes,,,rambling again....i apologize!!

Thank you!! After my w/o this morning, I tried Cathe's orange light band and my wider purple (non-Cathe) fabric band and these both worked better for regular push-ups. I'll use Cathe's green medium band and possibly her blue band for diamond & tricep push-ups. (Nothing could ever get me to do push-ups on my own!!). Ha! Thankful for these options!!!

glad to hear. i should clarify my answer - the widest CIRCUMFERENCE was the best for me, 34", in other words, if you were to measure all the way around it.

I just finally tried this and wow! I’ve always struggled with push-up form and this hack is amazing. My right shoulder has issues so I don’t get the depth in a push-up anyway and this feels like it protects my shoulder, too. Nice!

So glad it’s working for others too. I also have shoulder issues since my car accident. I was never really great with push-ups prior but could do a few on my toes in proper form. This has really helped me as I recover.

Stumbled across this product and it reminded me of the push-up hack (but much pricier!).

Alison, thanks for bumping this thread up! I missed it the first time it was posted. That band you linked is pricey for sure!

ChelePa, thanks for posting this trick, I didn't know about it, I gave it a try today with my light fabric loop and it worked great. I can do push ups from toes but no a whole lot of them, so I think this will help build more strength.
