Vantreesta definitely would have takeout on Thursday...might need it Friday, too!

gladgirl that's good to hear!

kristiep hope your second week wrapped up well in this challenge...and anyone else participating!

So was thrilled that Day 8 had fewer swings, haha. I took her advice to increase the reps in the sets for the push and pull. I also probably went too low in my weight for the push initially so it was a good chance to bump it a little and I will stay here through the rest of the challenge. I don't regret starting too light, haha!

I think this is the first challenge I have done of hers that I have kept up chronologically. Pretty cool!

Did you see her email about a new swing challenge in June?

Way to go, Linda! I have tried some of her challenges before but true to form, i didn't finish any except maybe the pushups one.

Today I finished up week 3 of this challenge and I am working on increasing the number of reps in the first set.

Lauren is talking about repeating the challenge. I am pretty sure I will but probably take a week off first. I will also change my exercises.

This is the last week ... WOOT!!

I did day 3 today. I'm combining it with other workouts and challenges so it's not strictly as written. Like today I did day 6 of Murph training which was 3 rounds for time of 400 M run, 15 pushups, 20 pullups. So my push and pull were covered by that Navy SEAL workout. Then I did a paper kettlebell workout that worked in 5 rounds so I added my swings in to that. Murph day 7 was 100 air squats, so since my kettlebell workout had 30 goblet squats I added two sets of 35 air squats at the end to cover that. It's nice that my challenges and workouts can overlap and meld together like this! I felt like I covered a lot in 36 minutes! And I got to use my new 25 lb kettlebell!

Way to go Vantreesta!! I high five you with my weight gloves on!!

I finished the Challenge today and it was super easy to plug into my workout today.

WOOT so proud of myself for finishing the challenge as it was designed.. hoooahh!!!
