STS CheckIn

Just getting it started.

And no, I did NOT do all the 1RM stuff. I've been lifting on my own off and on all summer so I think I have a good idea of what I can lift.

Taking measurements tomorrow so I can see how I progress during my time. Printing stuff out today for my workouts this week!

I wanted to start this on Nov. 1st but with both of my jobs, I won't have 3 days this week where I can do it (I picked up a couple of extra shifts). I should be able to start the following week, though!

ETA: I am going to try to at least do something from Lauren Brooks' Kettlebell Lightning and Kettlebell Incinerator DVDs each day to stay active and post those here for the sake of checking in. I can get in a 12-20 minute workout most days, but the 45-60 minutes of STS is too much after a 13-14 hour day Next week I should have Tues, Thurs and Sat available for STS.

If anyone starts STS in, well, before I finish, I'd love to have the extra cheers.

I got this first week's workout cards printed out and got a fitness planner made up. Put a post about it on my blog if anyone cares.

Half excited and half scared to start. I'm not in decent shape anymore so this is going to test me.

My arms are noodles. One what planet did she think we'd enjoy 1 billion pushups LOL Cause it wasn't mine LOL

And no I just couldn't do them all. I did my best, kept modifying until I just couldn't do them. Those staggered pushups, I did regular and watched about half of them lol.

But hey, I tried and I'm happy with what I managed to do.

Disk 2 in the books.
A little like *** with the chin ups and pull ups but I just put my barbell in my squat rack and modified.

Week 1 done. I was going to do the Disk 3 Legs yesterday, but I was just tired.
So I listened to my body and did it today.

1 week done 11 left to go

Just an FYI, I might not be working out much this week. My MIL just died this morning. We live in Iowa, and my inlaws winter in deep southern Texas. So hubby took off with his brother to go down there and help my poor FIL out. He's lost, of course.

So who knows how my workouts will be as well, we have no idea of what's happening and when it will happen.
