Spinning DVD Recommendations

Any recommendations for good spinning DVDs? I have done the Peloton trial and the Studio Sweat trial and before I commit to one or the other, I am looking for any recommendations for DVDs, I see several out there - Spinnervals, Cathe, etc. Are they even worth getting? I am a very, very beginner at spinning. TIA

My favourites are Virtual Actives. I've reviewed a lot of them on my blog. They've gone to streaming/downloads only now but Mary probably has the DVDs on sale right now. They're great...especially for beginners.

For a beginner, the Spinning DVD called Spin and Slim is good. It is a half hour long and has a little of everything. It was my favorite for a long time. Now I like Cathe's Ride the most, but it is more challenging.

Candice, did you ever try the spinning classes that you mentioned in this thread? Are your wrists better?

I didn't end up finding a class that I could attend due to days or hours, however hubby bought me an early Christmas present with a black Friday sale. So far I am really enjoying having a bike at home and trying out the streaming services. I can't keep up yet with the instructors, but am trying. My hands are getting better and as long as I avoid putting pressure where the incisions are, I'm good.

I will have to check Mary's site since I know she is having a sale.

They aren't quite beginner, but the Sufferfest makes fun (sometimes laugh out loud funny), engaging videos with a story line that use real bike competitions to motivate you. All of their workouts are available through their app now.
