Question So, what are your fitness goals/plans for 2018?

I'm going to continue focusing on strength and balance work. I'm having fun with my new Bellicon, so cardio is covered.

I'd like to do a rotation, but I can't decide which one! I'm torn between P90X, Body Beast, Hammer & No Chisel and a couple of others. So many sets, so little energy!

What are your plans/goals for the upcoming year?

My goal is to stick to Jessica Smith rotations with some Ellen Barrett and a lot of yoga thrown in. I usually give up and do my own thing, but I really want to follow through on completing Walk Strong 3, Walk Strong Master Rotation, Walk On Master Rotation and a YouTube one.

My goal is to keep going with Jessica and MELT Method (soft foam roller self massage).

Much as I enjoyed it, yoga doesn't seem to agree with my shoulders and I'm not in an improvising mood, so for now my yoga practice is on the shelf.

My goal is to stay committed and to continue listening to my body. I've been working out consistently for 4 years. Sometimes I question my exercise choices, but I want to stay true to me and what works for me. So, I want to cheer on other's choices while respecting my own, and to keep getting stronger and more fit.

I hear you. I'm not going to make any because I keep making the same goals every single year and I don't exactly follow through on them. The good thing is that the 30-35 lbs I want to lose in 2018 is the same 30-35 lbs I've been wanting to lose for the past 5-6 years. At least that number stays the same year over year. Maybe I'll try harder in 2018. I just want to keep exercising to feel good, be flexible and ache-free. That's my goal for 2018.

My overall health goal is to lower my cholesterol.

My fitness goal is simply to workout at least 30 minutes 5 days a week.

Keep it simple.

I lowered my cholesterol by 40 points by cutting way back on saturated fat and added sugar.

Continue progressing with weights. I finally got over my fear/intimidation of gym weight room thanks to a paper workout bootcamp I signed up for. I ordered One Year Challenge and trying to plan that with my orangetheory fitness membership (currently on hold). I also have a 35 day pass to pure barre that expires in February I have to use, lol.

If I decide to let go of my otf membership, I’m debating starting a firm rotation for the millionth time, lol.

Attempt to complete The Year One Challenge.

Increase my deadlift up to 300lbs for one rep(or more)

Increase my squat up to 250lbs for reps

Increase my bench press to 120lbs for reps

Do one pullup (or more)

Get my eating straightened up. I know what works for me, I just need to do it.
