Who wants to kick off the marathon with the midnight spot?

There are also 4, 5, 6, and 10 p.m. spots open and 3 a.m..

I suppose I could try to exercise for 6 hours that day...

I'm on the west coast, am a night owl and will be celebrating with DH via Skype this year, so I can do midnight and 3AM. That would be 9 and midnight for me, but I'll likely start the midnight session a few minutes late. (ETA I meant at my midnight I might be a few minutes late. That's 3AM on the schedule.) I usually end up with a post midnight slot and spend an hour stretching and doing gentle Pilates, which is a nice start to the year and end of celebrations.

And for my actual New Years Day slot I can do 10PM, or 7 where I am.

We do always fill the schedule, though some slots go at the last minute and not everyone checks back into this thread to report their workout right away.

I really hope more people join, but if no one else claims it, I would be totally honored to kick us off at midnight.

I will be starting the second hour of my ski lesson, which really is the culmination of a year of fitness.

Today I did my first double-black diamond run and my first ever off-piste, in the powder and through the trees.

Or as the kids here say, playing in the powpow!

I'll be working out at 9am EST! I have football bowl games to watch later in the day. Go ahead and put me down at the 4pm slot too, as I'll be running then.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I'll probably be asleep by 10 so I can't take midnight. . I'll have to check the football schedule to see when DH will be engrossed in that (seems like all day) and we won't be doing something else. I can probably take 4 PM.

I see there are three of us working out at 2 am and nobody for 3 am. I'd be happy to exercise one hour later. It's still a good time for me (9 am here).

I could switch to the 8 AM CET (3AM EST) slot to fill that up.
