I have a High Step but for cardio still use the 7" high wooden step my DH made for me, which was based on the Firm boxes. He originally made me a tall box as well, but I don't have it any more.

Right? I discovered the Firm right before the Volume 6 pre-sale and was sooooo excited to stalk the mail carrier for both my workout AND my New Firm Barbell (which is still in use!)

I also still have my Firm barbell and still use it. I also have 2 of the original stools---tall box and a short one. Both still in use tho mostly as step stools in the house. All 3 items look the same as the day they arrived. Definitely quality.
No plastic here.

Me too! I wouldn't part with my classics and all the equipment for anything!

I still have my wooden step and my FIRM Barbell and the FIRM mini trampoline. I bought all of them at a garage sale. Several tapes, (including CSM, SC, SSc and several of the Classics) all at a garage sale for $50! LOL! I had bought the BSS1 set and was told by the original FIRMers that they were a must have and then BAM I found them at the sale! I snatched them up like they were gold!

I never got the wooden step, but I bought two Firm barbells in the late 90's and still use them all the time. They are just the right size for me. I purchased a "real" barbell a year or two ago and was disappointed at how huge & unwieldy it felt in comparison to the Firm's barbell. It felt a lot less comfortable, too, even with a wrap.

Your Welcome.

Annette has posted a link with a picture of what I'm guessing is what the step will look like.
