my biggest problem spot is my inner thighs. which one would be best for that?

it's weird, but even though my trouble spot has always been my lower body, the little bit of fat that I have now on my back, back of arms, and abs bothers me almost even more. ok, maybe not as much as my inner thighs.

I think it's because I'm used to my lower body fat.

maybe omni wouldn't be such a bad idea for me. I am worried about the daily pressure on my wrists with all of these.

it seems like you can't go wrong with any of these.

just curious, but are any of these ok to do with pregnancy?

Do you all do her cardio or something else?

I can't do her cardio unless I use the rebounder. All that bouncing around that she does is hard on my feet and my joints. I suppose if I kept at it for a while it would get easier, but I'd rather do other forms of cardio that make my joints happy. In fact, I find high impact athletic cardio less painful than her dance stuff. She may not approve, but I still get the results I'm after when I consistently do her mat workouts.

I started with Meta Hip and gave up (life changes, results were okay). I then picked up Meta Glute over a year ago. I did Meta Glute and now am on Glute Cont. 2.1. I really enjoy it. I only do each level 7x (so it's less boring for me). I vary my cardio - but it's generally, dance, hi/lo, step, rebounding, and occasionally a kickboxing routine.

I chose Glute because I want to lift my butt. Also, when I lift my butt, my saddlebags disappear. I think Hip was too concentrated on the outter thighs to the point where I was building on them (not reducing them). I get plenty of ab work with Glute - abs are also not my problem area.

Both Abs and Glutes continuities targets both your abs and glutes. There's a level in abs continuity 1.1 that targets your inner thighs like nothing else. I love this level so much that I not only have it memorized, I also created a flow workout with this level. I do each exercise for 1 rep each creating a flow and repeat this series for as long as I want. Then I switch legs. Or I'll switch legs after each flow sequence.

Hips is the only continuity that really bothered my right side, which is my injured side. It's very hip intensive. I don't mean outer thigh intensive, I mean HIPS, so if someone really wants to work their hips, this continuity would be it.

After doing abs and glutes 1.1-1.3, I jumped back to omni 1.1 and I'll do this centric until 1.3.

Thanks

I do have a rebounder but might just want to hit the treadmill instead. Kill 2 birds with one workout (trying to get to 5k shape)

Agreed. I did the Dance Cardio in her book and was turned off. Didn't like the current Dance Cardio DVD much either. I got a copy of the 2007 Dance Aerobics workout which is way easier to follow but I haven't tried it yet.

Isn't the point of Dance Cardio to warm you up enough to do the muscular structure work anyway?

What a great idea. I'm usually staring at the clock by the time I reach the 6th day anyway, at least I was when I did her Bootcamp.

I'm dusting off Omni now to start again so we'll see how it goes. I have PP and Mat in case I want to add some extras.

Debbie - I am doing Abcentric 2.2, L8 right now and that one is a killer workout for the inner thigh. Out of the 6 moves in the floor work, four of the moves targets your inner thighs, especially the last 2 moves. The last 2 moves targets the inner thigh on both sides, your working leg and your balancing leg are getting the inner thigh at the same time. Plus, those moves tagets the oblique. My inner thighs were screaming by the time I finished this morning. I don't use 2.5# ankle weights with it, though. I do use 1.5# ankle weights. I think the 2.5# ankle weights are too heavy for my liking.

Do you have Abcentric 2.2?

Cheryl

Cheryl, that level sounds awesome! No, my abcentric only goes up to 2.1
