If you click on DVD's, then The Purist Series you can order the Dance of the Dragon DVD without the ball for $34.95.

After looking at the site more last night, I did see that the prices quoted were in Australian $ so I did a conversion and found out they're not all that expensive after all. I only have the four original ones in VHS so I might just splurge to get them all in DVD. Might.

Has anyone been able to see the preview clips? When I click on any of them, it just goes to a blank white screen. I wrote to their technical support last night but haven't received an answer.

LAC, my two favorites are sections from Posture and Flexibility (I usually use either the first and second section or just the first) and Release and Relax (I mostly use a later section whose name escapes me at the moment). I use these mostly to help with neck/shoulder issues and they are great for that. I do like all four of the practices but don't do the others as often anymore.

ETA: I'm not so sure I'm interested in Dance of the Dragon anymore, even though it is cheaper than I original thought. It looks very similar to the ones I already have.

guess I will wait till I can view the clip and meanwhile revisit the workouts I already have to decide whether Dance of the Dragon excites me or not.

I tried two different browsers and updated my flashplayer and I can't see them either. I emailed about it early this morning too, but haven't gotten any response all day long.

Thanks for the info on which ones you like best. Since I don't have any, I'm still kicking around the idea of ordering Dragon Dance, although I'm a little worried that the cinnamon scented chiball will make me hungry for cinnamon buns.

Thanks Karen and Barb. These do look interesting. I don't have anything like it. They sure do look relaxing.

I received a reply to my email about the video previews. They sent me working links - here they are:

The General Health Series

The Purist Series

The Original Series

and you can learn more about the various series here

ETA - After viewing the clips, Dragon Dance is out for me because it is voiceover. I liked the set & music in Power of Relaxation best, but now realize that one is voiceover too. I'll have to think hard about this.

I got the same reply - yay! And I agree about the voiceovers. I think it's weird that Monica Linford does the voiceover on Dance of the Dragon but the guy is in the middle.

I did want to say that the Original Energize and Tone workout is more of a light aerobic workout whereas the other three Original workouts are more yoga/tai chi-ish and, therefore, more relaxing. Two of them (Awaken the Spine and Posture and Flexibility) have good ab sections.

I suffered through the downloading of the Dance of the Dragon clip in dialup and lost interest quickly. I like it when Chiball feels aerobic and this one didn't at all. Don't know how they can call it *Dance* unless we are seeing just its warmup? Voiceovers do not bother me at all if the movements match.

My only complaint about Energize and Tone which I am assuming is my favorite from Karen's description is that it is dark in its outfit and set (if I remember correctly?). However I do like its Nia-like feel good movements and adding the chiball makes it alittle more different and fun for me, even though my chiball lost its scent rather quickly.

Thanks LAC for giving us the links.

Thanks Karen for letting us know why you like the ones you do.

Questions:
How long are these workouts each?
Are these DVD's region free since they are from Australia?
