I use only the equipment I want to (e.g., just don't use any boxes or steps; for leg presses, just swap in lunges and dips), and for any cardio choreo that feels too frenetic that day, I just march or jog in place or just kind of dance or something. My WO room has floor-to-ceiling windows in it, so sometimes I'll just look away from the TV during a frenetic segment, jog in place while looking out the window, and then I come back to attention when they move back to a sculpting segment. Make the workouts work for you, not the other way around.
I do the same thing. One thing I do when I don't feel like hauling out equipment is use my staircase. You can step up and down on the first step and take the stairs two at a time instead of tall box leg press. It's not in view of my TV, but I can hear the cues. Doesn 't work for straddle moves, but you can still get in a good workout.

Oh, that's a great idea!

Anita, please keep me in mind if you decide to get rid of your DVDs. I have some holes in my collection that I'd love to fill! In the meantime, I'm going to try PivotShare for a month or two.

Does anyone know if the Firm categories were matched to any of the Fitprime workouts (classic, tortoise, hare)?
I don't know about these workouts being categorized. But, I have them and plan on doing a rotation with these when I am done with my plug and play 90DR.

YEAH!!! I just finished week 2, and I am having a blast. I am eager to see the changes in my body week to week, and think I will have a tank top comfort level this summer

The stuff I have includes Tough Tape, Tought Tape 2, Maximum Body Shaping, FIRM Strength and a bunch of the BSS ones where heavier weights and AWT is the goal (e.g. CAWT). I just worry about some of the strange cueing & overly fussy steps for cardio + the equipment changes in general... that's why I've been avoiding them.

I have a few FitPrimes which I have never used (guilty vidiot) so if anyone can summarize which ones are most likely to be similar to the FIRMs I've listed above, I might just have to finally break them out!
Anytime I am not comfortable with the cardio moves, I march in place. If I feel the tall box climbs are too quick, I use a shorter box. I am modifying where needed to make each workout work for me.

I'm using the 8" box for the fast tall box climbs now. I use the 14" box with a dowel in one hand for the slow leg presses. I'm 63.

I love this!! We can make the sessions work for us, and they are still awesome and effective.
