I know I am definitely leary of ordering from Amazon sometimes. I do see a lot of reviews suggesting that things are counterfeits.

The inside that touches the leg is the same as the outside.

I only used the yellow (lightest) one. No smell at all when out of the pkg.

There is a really good brand that I've seen recommended but IIRC it is about $40.

Thank you! Most of the ones I have looked at have the rubber inside and I'm not so sure if I would like that. I'm glad to hear these have no smell! There are so many bands on Amazon that it's overwhelming trying to narrow it down!

I haven't opened the dvds yet because I was thinking that I should have the band but I guess I could probably try them without! I do have some really old school latex loop bands that are the thick, skinny ones. They tend to cut in which is why I never used them. Glad they are making them wider these days.

ETA: I do have the large non loop bands and I could probably tie one into a loop.
