You'll probably have a tough time finding slide workouts since sliding isn't nearly as popular as it used to be - and it was never really that popular...LOL!!

I used to have this CIA workout which I thought was fun: All New Advanced Slide Workout

I've pretty much only been able to find them on VHS...on eBay.

All the slide workouts were on video, and I don't know of any on DVD. I always loved the slide---it's a great workout that is unlike any other.

Yep, I have several, all on VHS. I'm not sure they even exist on DVD, since the slide hasn't been "the thang" for a number of years.

It's a shame, though. I really like sliding for a change of pace.

I have a couple other VHS CIAs with slide on them:

CIA 7002 with Christi Taylor
CIA 5004 with Deborah Silvers & Terri Klinghoffer (lots of big hair in this one)

I once had several Reebok slide tapes...did your purchase not include one of these? The basic tape was a pretty good introductory but not challenging enough for a real workout.

There was a VF member who posted frequently about the slide. She would make her own slide boards. I'm sorry but I can't recall her name.

if you do a search, you will find several threads about sliding.

there is 1 lone workout on DVD, but it is part of a compilation made for Ice Skating athletes called "off ice training" or something like that. Monterey Vidiot here at VF won one on eBay and posted some comments about it. this DVD has a short segment on sliding - like maybe less than 30 min IIRC. ice skaters use slide boards to train off-season.

the DVD also includes some other training segments like running and then bouncing off of a rebounder to simulate jumps that a skater would do on ice.

like everyone said, they're all on VHS.

i own these 6 vhs:
kim alexis
cheryl ladd (host, but led by someone else)
kathy stevens (reebok)
CIA Christy Taylor - a compilation of 3 workouts, 1 of which is a slide workout
CIA Heather Day
Nike conditioning - with Andre Houle, Donna Richardson; circuit workout that includes sliding interspersed with step and hi/lo

some vhs that i don't own:
1) reebok - nancy kerrigan (i don't know if this is entirely different than the kathy stevens' video by reebok ~ it's possible nancy does an intro and then the workout is led by someone else)
2) liz dyer
3) denise austin
4) there's another CIA one by Heather Day

i got my Cheryl Ladd (made by Fitness Quest) slide from a thrift store for $5!!! it didn't have the video in it, just the slide and the booties.
