My slot was 9 am…did one of sarabeth’s 30 min yoga practice and added in 10 mins of meditation after that. Drinking some yogi tea now so feeling quite zen. 😎

10 am. 20 minute Peloton Recovery Ride followed by 20 minute Peloton Recovery Walk. Finished with Cathe 15 minute mobility stretching. Happy New Year!

Hey vf'ers! I look forward to this every year! Grateful to be part of this around the world exercise marathon, starting the year strong.

Checking in with 10am – from Jessica’s Lift & Shift:
54 min Total Body Circuit [Primary Moves] and
5 min Express Stretch.

Thank you so much for organizing it FitBoop. I participated in all of them over the years, but it took me a while to actually sign up.

I got started a little late for my 10 am time slot, but I did Ilaria Montagnani's Athletica Volume II. I got this one for Christmas so it was new to me. Lots of total body work with squats, lunges, swings, (thinking of you, Linda), and presses.

I checked my log and was surprised to find that I haven't done any Ilaria workouts since January, 2021. I knew it had been a while, but yikes, where does the time go?!

I love reading all the different types of workouts everyone does. Very motivating! Happy New Year to all.

Brian Syuki - Focus Fitness: 1 Hour Walking Workout

This is my very first time participating in the fitness marathon, and I had my workout planned for the 11am EST slot (8am PST). I woke up with some lower back pain, and needed to switch to a gentler workout. So glad I was able to do it.

11 am check-in: I did the Cathe Live New Year Countdown for 30 minutes, and Les Mills Barre for 30 minutes, and 15 minute shoulder mobility with Blake from BASE.

Feeling amazing.

I always use the Marathon to do parts of different DVD’s that I have never done or haven’t done in a long time. Today, I chose 3 of my favorite instructors. I did:

Chalene Johnson, Turbo Jam Cardio Party, 20 minutes
Cathe Friedrich, Fit Tower, Long & Strong, 25 minutes
Kathy Smith, Pilates for Abs, 22 minutes.

I liked each of those workouts, and will do them again in their entirety.

I enjoy starting the New Year as part of the greater cause-24 Hours of Fitness!
