At 2 a.m. (11:00 my time) I was already in process of doing Heather Robertson’s Fierce day 14 and I added on Courtney Anderson’s Friday Fusion 60 minute workout.

Happy New Year. My slot was 7:00. I did 1 hour walk. Very windy and snow is coming. We are supposed to get 6-8” but also a lot of drifting so I anticipate shoveling later. I will add yoga on later in the day.

Earlier this morning, I did my meditation and then at 9:00 a.m. EST (8:00 my time), I started off 2022 with Yvette Bachman (it's now a tradition to start off each year with Yvette).

Yvette Fit #158 (70 Min. Cardio/Boxing Combos-Multiple Muscle Groups)
This class rocks! It starts off with some high impact right after the w/u (yes, some burpees in there), but mostly all standing then recovery boxing and kickboxing moves to bring your HR down (a little!). Then she had a bodyweight segment with plank variations with more high impact. I modified quite a few of the high impact cardio but my HR was still up there for most of the workout.

I noticed my upper body is still majorly sore from yesterday's upper body workout, so in place of the few weighted shoulder exercises, I did weighted leg exercises. This worked out well since Yvette adds in some firewalker exercises which was a nice finisher for the legs. The workout ends with some easier core work and a nice stretch using the band. I added on YT Mady Morrison's Back Pain Relief stretches to provide a little more stretching.

This was a fantastic total body workout - hitting each muscle, for sure! 526 cal burn to start off my snowy day with! Possible Shovel Max in my future?

Started the New Year at 6 am EST with Cathe’s RWH Low Impact #1 and Jessica Smith’s YT 10 min standing stretch - such a great one!!
