Teresa Tapp has passed away
Teresa Tapp has passed away. I just got this email:
To our customers, families, trainers, community members, and friends of T-Tapp: it is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Teresa Tapp. Teresa passed away on September 20, 2018. T-Tapp lost a visionary, pioneer, and prodigy of health and fitness, but the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Teresa have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Teresa leaves behind a company that only she could have built, and her spirit will forever be the foundation of T-Tapp. Per Teresa’s wishes, Brian Hashey has taken on the role of President and Jennifer Decker has taken on the role of Vice President. They have both worked for T-Tapp and side-by-side with Teresa for over 20 years. We all will honor her memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work she loved so much. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences in the interim, you can simply email rememberingteresa@t-tapp.com. Please keep Teresa’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Wow - this is shocking! Does anyone know the back story? Was she sick? Did she have a succession plan - not for just running the company, but to continue her work?

I just got this email. I'm in shock. She looked the very picture of vibrant great health. She had so much energy. I've been doing her workouts for 17 years, now.

I'm in total shock. I'm trying to find out what happened but nothing is coming up. I agree that she looked the picture of perfect health.

No, Genevieve, I don't know the back story. Like everyone else, I'm shocked. I assume something has been going on for a while, though, since she has apparently made plans.

I’m in shock! Teresa was an amazingly caring woman. She treated her trainers like sisters. She was so generous with her knowledge and support. She touched so many lives. Teresa was an incredibly wonderful woman who will be missed by so many.
