I wonder how many calories you burn playing a game of marbles? Or jacks? Or Chinese jumprope? I actually remember a "recess" class at some gym.

Well, the "Red" is sort of a sit-n-spin refashioned as fitness gadget, and Patrick G. already has a Hippity Hop sort of video. But as far as Clackers and Whee-lo, the HSN fitness dept. is wide open, so go for it! Or maybe you can market a fruitcake that doubles as a medicine ball.

A recess gym class would be fun.

Did you ever play Red Rover? We were vicious at my elementary school. I'm surprised more kids didn't have broken arms.

Anybody have any clue what I am describing?
I remember that. But not the name, alas.

Oh, well, Orlita. At least they aren't a figment of just my imagination..
Glad someone else remembers them.

Was it a Skat-Skoota? My grandparents had one at their house.

Another toy they had - something I've never seen before or since - was an Irish Mail. It was like a rowing machine on wheels. There are pictures online of antique Irish Mails, but this was a chain-driven, more modern version with a yellow padded seat. I'd love to know who made it and when.

Oh, I would just eat it before I did any exercising with it!

I had a Hoppity Mickey Mouse.

Never heard of what was mentioned in the OP

As soon as I saw the name, Sue, I knew that was it.

Thanks so much. I would love to have that now. Anybody know of an adult version, or even a kid version. Of course, now we would have to wear a helmet and pads, but still what fun it was. Worked beautifully, too. I love that they call it a treadmill.
