I'm sorry I didn't see this post until after you'd had to order and return the Hokas. I thought they were awful -- heavy and so cushioned they felt unstable, especially after my Sauconys.

![]() I bought some Saucony Integrity 3 walkers. They fit OK. I haven't taken them for a test walk outside yet.

Years ago when I was running/jogging almost daily and trying to find comfortable shoes I found a running store that evaluated my stride and advised me because of high arches and supination (underpronation) that I need cushioned shoes. The more cushion the better.
With your orthotics your foot type was probably evaluated. I don't know if this chart might help some. I use running shoes now for walking because I can easily find them with nice cushioning and they feel good. I remember thinking the Bondi 6 I purchased in a white color looked huge but I got used to them. https://protips.dickssportinggoods.c...-running-shoes |

I have "duck feet"
Got Hokas in my usual sneaker size and my pinky toes are cramped.
