I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm on week 2 of the Lean Phase of CLX. I've never done a full 3 month rotation of anything before, and I'm enjoying these workouts so much, that I'm thinking of doing another CLX rotation after this one is over, with a two week break in between. I'm getting great results for me. I'm feeling stronger, my arms rock, and I lost another two pounds (for a total of seven pounds lost so far), putting me just three measley pounds away from my pre-baby weight! I love the definition, I love the length of the workouts, and I even like Donna (my DH can't believe that woman is 60!). There's just one nagging problem that's been bothering me the whole time I've been doing these workouts: I'm a little bit embarassed to do them in front of my 5-year-old DS. Why? It seems like every time I look up at the screen, there's another gratuitous cleavage shot! I want to roll my eyes every time Chalene asks the camera man to come in for a closeup on someone's form (unless it's Dan or Skip). Yep, he's gonna focus on form, all right.
I'm sure that Beachbody is well aware that sex sells, but they must understand that, while the CLX series would be a great workout for either a man or a woman, the majority of its users will be female. I don't know about other women, but I'm tired of looking at Chalene's rack (besides which, some of Chalene's outfits seem totally impractical for a workout. I mean, if she bends over any further to do a row, something might pop out
). Am I alone in feeling this way?
