Paine, yes, I liked doing the challenge. I think my main opposition to doing swings is doing them all in a row - KCM does them for like 45 secs, and other workouts are even longer! But Lauren mostly breaks them up; Day 1 is just 10 sets of 10 with rests in-between. It felt much more manageable that way!

Pat, sounds like you didn't let your co-worker ruin your day.
Linda, you are extremely diligent when it comes to rehab! Hopefully you'll see success from your efforts soon. My body is feeling pretty worn out today--in addition to doing Days 1 & 2 of the kettlebell challenge yesterday, I did some tough lower body work and went on my first bike ride of the season, about 7 miles. I'm going to try to catch up with the next 2 days of the challenge today but take it light otherwise.

Good morning! TGIF!!!!
Yesterday featured: ~ Trifecta Pilates 15 Minute Pilates Workout ~ Walk around neighborhood ~ 8,700 steps. Pretty sure that was my first Trifecta Pilates and I liked Beth's style. Beth, I looked at your Rise Up, Stand Up practice and can't wait to try it. If I had gotten up 10 minutes earlier I would have done it this morning. Paine, thanks for the well wishes to my hydrangea. I sure hope it takes and survives, it wasn't cheap! I wonder if yours didn't do well because of the dry climate? While researching them, I learned it's name is Greek for "water vessel." Have a happy Friday all! |
