That’s a good idea. Perhaps she can also add the rotation title at the beginning of the name, such as Build or Condition.

I like that too. I think she may have started that; some of the STRENGTHEN strength workouts have "STRENGTHEN" in the title.

Changing the name and repackaging - grrrrrrrrrrrrr. that's another angst-trigger.

I keep a record of the ones I own.

I have a separate worksheet where i list the breakdown of compilation DVDs. I've noticed that some of the compilation DVDs include parts of a workout and not necessarily the original parts of a recycled workout.

I highlight the ones i lack from my collection and whether I want them or not. this prevents duplicates.

it sounds tedious and anal, but these records developed gradually because I'm always a late-to-the-party person and read VF threads a lot before I decide to buy.

Great thread!

Oh anyone, try to sort out Stott Pilates titles? I think some releases were meant for instructors so there are many I have never actually seen. I have found some great ones but the hunt is very confusing.

I constantly have to double-check my list of workouts because I'll see titles like Core Balance, Core Challenge, tone and sculpt, amazing tone or is it amazing sculpt? Beginners matwork, essential matwork 2nd edition, 3rd edition. Anyway, you get the idea.

My current mystery involves these:
Stott Pilates Essential BOSU Pilates for Sports Conditioning
Stott Pilates Intermediate BOSU Pilates for Athletic Performance

I think these are progressive and yet, slightly vary in title, so you might think they aren't meant to be. I don't know I can't sort them out yet until I try them.

Remember all the Max titles that Cathe has done? Those were hard to keep straight.

There's the Body Project channel on YouTube and then the "Team Body Project" membership site. The same workout might have a different title depending on which site you visit. Many of the titles sound the same.

Body Project

I love Daniel and most of the workouts that he leads. I've downloaded them and given them my own titles so that I can keep them straight!

How about Gaiam and all the repackaged/renamed Rodney Yees? I can’t ever tell if I already have one without clips, and sometimes not even then.

I just did a Yee tonight and thought of this thread. There are two “Yoga for Your Week” but one has AM in the title. They’re completely different workouts, and then the Gaiam repackaging… Karen Voight suffered from this as well, repackaging.

Yes, GAIAM is terrible! There are Suzanne Deason and also Ana Caban workouts repackaged that are compilations, separate dvds, new titles or jumbled with other instructors!

So true. I have whole workouts with Rodney Yee and then bits and pieces of workouts (from the whole workouts?) with Rodney Yee with other instructors. I’m sure I have doubled up on some workouts because of the change of covers. So confusing.

Second is Leslies, all those titles and miles that I can’t remember. If I ever do them again I will have to leave detailed notes inside each one .
