I would need to do 2-3 of Cathe's total body workouts per week to feel like my legs got enough--actually, probably just 2... If I did only one total body, I'd add a legs-only workout later in the week.

This year I've been trying to work my legs once per week with any Cathe standing leg workout. Then I do half an hour of her floor work later in the week. I'm trying to lighten up on the knee stress by making that second workout floor work, thus skipping all the squats and lunges.

Most total body workouts have lots of isolation work for the upper body, but not much for the lower body. I think this is partly due to time constraints. If you add in more lower body exercises, the workout's going to take longer especially if you work one leg at a time. I have a couple of favorite floorwork add ons that are only 10 minutes long that use if I feel the need for extra leg work.

If you want to know the titles, pm me (this goes for anyone) and I'll let you know.

>I also like to mix 4Day Split's lower body segment with Body Max 2's upper body segment and abs. That is a great 1 hour total body workout.

Paschal, That sounds great, can you give us more details as to how to do that? With 4 Day Split it's premix 3 right? There doesn't seem to be an upper body mix with the Body Max 2, (only a double upper body mix). I started the full workout to see where the upper body starts, but there are 98 chapters!

I think Cathe's total body routines have enough lower body work, but I'm a runner so I don't feel I need (or want) much more.

I call Power Hour my shaky leg workout. That one fries me! My legs are shaking during the last portion of the workout when I'm doing arms.

I think I'll do that one tomorrow.

I have done Cathe's Strong and Sweaty Total Body workout - it works the legs well throughout - it doesn't have abs - but is only 52 minutes so you have lots of time to add in an ab workout of choice.

Do you have her Cathe Live Workouts?- those are awesome - My favourite is Totally Pumped Total Body - my legs are screaming with that one - its a tough workout and only 50 minutes AND includes abs. She is super efficient and packs a lot into the time

I agree, Strong and Sweaty Total Body Giant sets is one of the best total body workouts Cathe has put out.

I also love Cathe Live "Push Pull Total Body" because she works the legs (quads/glutes), chest/back, shoulders (front, lateral, back), and biceps/triceps plus a short ab/core all in about 40 minutes. The rep speed on this one is moderate (for Cathe) and each set is 8-12 reps which is good for going heavy. Love this one!

You could use the total body premix on Pyramid DVD - works upper/lower evenly.
