Someone tried my account to and this is the email I received. The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 111.12.128.166

I strengthened my password. Other than an email address, there is not much else a hacker would get, unless they want to read about fitness workouts. It is still disturbing that hackers are everywhere trying to hack into everything.

I got an email today stating that someone unsuccessfully tried to log into my account. IP address was: 117.166.81.140.

I received the same email, spoke to a moderator and the webmaster and it's something that's happening more and more. She said to just make sure you don't have an easy to guess password and you should be okay. Here is what I was told, hope the Moderator doesn't mind me posting it here.

There has been a big bump worldwide in automated bots (mostly from foreign countries) attempting to log in to vBulletin forums around the world. They are randomly hitting thousands of logins simultaneously. Many forum managers are reporting this problem. The good news is the bots get locked out after a few incorrect attempts and emails like the one you got are auto-generated. The purpose of the bots seems to be to try to access an account with an easily guessed password and generate spam. Unless you have an easy to guess password you are unlikely to be affected other than getting emails like this one.

Dear MelissaR,

Someone has tried to log into your account on Video Fitness Forum with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 117.169.1.125
