Oh no.... I loved her in so many different movies and shows but especially in Steel Magnolias playing off Shirley Maclaine.

Was just thinking about Olympia and Shirley in Steel Magnolias the other day. They had some of the best lines in the movie. I loved her in Moonstruck too. RIP Olympia.

I just watched Steel Magnolias over Easter weekend. "Looks like two pigs fighting under blanket."

I also loved her as the principal in Mr Holland's Opus.

Tawny Kitaen has passed away at the age of 59. She was an actress - in Bachelor Party with a young Tom Hanks, and, probably more famously, in the Whitesnake video, "Here I Go Again". No cause of death but it was known she struggled with substance abuse. Also famously known for beating up ex-husband, Chuck Finley, former major league pitcher.

I always thought she was incredibly beautiful. May she rest in peace.

Charles Grodin has died at 86. He was in the Beethoven movies but I always remember him from Seems Like Old Times with Goldie Hawn & Chevy Chase.

Aww, this one makes me sad! DH & I actually have caught Seems Like Old Times on TV recently, and we love it every time. Plus, when we first lived together, we used to watch his late night talk show--anyone else remember that?
