LOL well, in the Walking Dead, the characters get PLENTY of cardio - all they do is steady-state cardio (walking for miles, looking for a camp), or intervals (running from zombies and bad people). Having to slash through those zombie skulls requires quite a bit of upper body strength.

My sister works with an organization that does an annual 5K fundraiser on some wooded trails where the runners are chased by people dressed as zombies jumping out from the woods. Apparently even knowing it's fake, people get super amped and end up running really fast.
