Phyllis - I don't know anything about the TIU foam roller, but I've had a foam roller for many years and do think it's a great tool. I looked on Amazon and the one most similar to the one I have is:
http://www.amazon.com/Inch-Length-Ro...m+roller&psc=1 I have the 6" X 36" which is "full size". I find the longer length best because you can lay (lie?) lengthwise on it (so from back of head to bottom of the back). It can really work out the kinks!

I have the Grid, a couple of smooth foam rollers, and the foam roller from Beachbody that is pretty gnarly.
I use the Grid after every workout. It is by far my favorite foam roller. I foam roll on my own and really concentrate on the areas that need it the most. I start with my lower body; back and then front, and then roll out my back; starting with my lower back. I end at my head before I turn over and roll out the front of my body. Again, starting with my lower body.
