Pretty sure I've had a rotator cuff injury, though it's never been diagnosed. I got it in the military, so going on almost 20 years ago when it first reared its ugly head. The military tends to make you believe pain is in your head or at the very least that you're malingering ("faking it") so I never pressed the issue. When I got other worse injuries I concentrated on healing the pain with those. The rotator cuff pain comes and goes, and if I'm sure not do certain exercises, it mostly keeps the pain at bay.
