Great article. Question: It is appropriate for the instructor to say 'This is fun!' in a yoga class?

yes - Aline's avatar is amazing. She just spent a month doing Ana Forrest's Teacher Training. sounded mondo yowza!

Anyway, I may have this wrong, but I recall some people met Pam at, I think, a John Friend workshop - the founder of the Anusara style, and said she is a doll.

I wish her the best.

Thanks for sharing the article, Cardiogirl! It sounds like a great place for yoga I think there's more to this than what the Firm is saying. I wish the best for both Pam and Tamela.

And, Aline, your new avatar is amazing!!! And obviously you are, too!!!

I'm not into yoga that much but after reading this article, I wouldn't mind visiting their studio. I love Pam and Tamela from the Firm and I wish them all the best.

Note to Pam and Tamela if you are reading this - make workout videos. We will buy!

That does seem odd ... and I'm very sad to learn Pam is gone. She's always been one of my favorites!!

Thanks for the link of the article. The yoga studio sounds really nice and comfortable. I wish the best for Pamela and Tamela.

But I will miss Pamela as a Firm instructor. I do like Firm Strength. But I thought she really shined in Jiggle Free Buns and SuperCharged Sculpting.

Aline, that's an amazing avatar!!

I think there is more to this than a yoga studio. She can always give Tracie a ring at V.

hey I hadn't thought of the Tracie at V factor in all this - interesting - makes sense that they might be involved too.

Based on Pam and Tamela's bio, background, and pictures here: http://www.ambastudios.com/Instructors.htm

my guess is that their audience is likely to be fitness enthusiasts who also do yoga (the Firm clientele, for example). Not so much people from the established yoga community. Now will these people be willing to pay studio rates? is the question. Their space is very beautiful though.

thanks all for the kind avatar-compliments SharonNYC took the picture last month. I'm getting a bit embarassed now!
