I Joni O'd my first workout of 2017!

I decide to try an old Jane Fonda workout I'd downloaded from YouTube. Her "Light Aerobics & Stress Reduction" one. I had never done that one before and it seemed like it would be good. The warm-up went well, but once the workout started, her cueing was so poor I couldn't stand it.

I had it on my phone and was viewing it via HDMI to my TV. I looked to see what else I had on there and chose Jessica Smith's YouTube workout, "Belly, Buns & Thighs Walk." I hadn't done that one before either. I ended up really liking that one. Yay!

(I have a lot of Jessica's DVDS, but like her YouTube workouts so much more.)

So I guess the "stress reduction" part didn't quite pan out?

I've never done any Jane Fonda workout. When her videos were popular I was going to gyms, and by the time I got to videos there was much more to offer.

I agree with you about Jessica, for some reason I enjoy her YouTube workouts much more than her DVDs. I've bought most of them to show support for her but wound up trading all but a couple. Plus, I don't do rotations and most of her DVD sets are set up to fill slots in rotations.

Happy New Year!

I love Jessica's Belly, Buns and Thighs Walk. That Jane Fonda one doesn't ring a bell, but I pulled out Cory Everson's GHAS on Saturday. Thought of you Alta, because I should have posted it in your - what is it? - dust bunny or vintage thread?

I got 17 results when I searched for Joni O threads on vf!

It basically means to hate a workout so much you have to tear it out of the machine mid-workout. It was named after a certain member on vf named Joni O many moons ago. She was sorta infamous for doing it! Joni O is a vf legend

Joni O is definitely a VF legend ! Not only is she famous for her name becoming a verb, but also she was quoted in a Firm infomercial! She was a VF moderator, too.
