Happy Wednesday to All!

I am on week ten of my ES program.

A Cathe video(s) using bands would be nice. I always take my bands when I am traveling.I have devised tons of band only workouts.

Mickey- I hope you liked the first episode of Lincoln: Divided We Stand.

Chel- the vintage Cathe workout for Fun Friday sounds like fun. I did this workout many times, years ago.

Bee and Cataddict- I usually declutter with my Spring time house cleaning. Since the pandemic I feel like I have way too many clothes. Now I teach via Zoom and never get as dressed up as I used to. Sometime I do miss getting dressed up and it will be hard to make the transition back to business attire.

Bee- I hope you can find a vaccine site soon. I agree with you about the bands. I have both fabric and elastic bands and it depends on the exercise to determine what band I will use.

Happy St. Patrick's Day for those who celebrate!!! Shepherds pie is on the menu for tonight along with some green/white cupcakes and peanut butter fudge ice cream for dessert.

Kim...I will definitely be asking you a million questions once we reschedule our Gettysburg trip. This summer will be filled with weekend trips for my daughter's last travel softball season. Time really flies. She doesn't want to play next year which would be the summer before college. We'll see if that changes.

Bee...hoping you can find an appointment. I have been helping other family members and friends who are in the first category find available spots. The trick has been calling Rite Aid or CVS around midnight or going on their websites. That's when openings seem to happen.

My husband is a hoarder like his mom...haha. When he would travel for work, I would clear out tons of stuff. We moved twice with so much of his junk...I mean memorabilia I am not kidding when I say I emptied probably 10-15 of those storage containers. Some stuff was just garbage but the rest got donated. He keeps everything!!! He has a little area in the basement that is driving me crazy. I told him if he doesn't go through the boxes soon...it will become my project. He knows what that means My daughter and I conspired on one of the occasions. He would wear what my daughter referred to as old man sweatpants when he would exercise or practice softball with her. She hated them. On one of his many travels, I donated all the ugly sweats and t-shirts. Of course, he was looking for them one day and both of us couldn't stop laughing.

Kate...your story was very touching And I think the Calorie Crush from Rev'd Up Rumble is tougher than the Ice Blizzard Blast. Love the premixes on both sets!

I don't own fabric bands but I think that's what Anna uses in her workouts. She keeps them above her knees and she looks like she is really struggling for certain moves. I have my Cathe bands and a set from Amazon that include extra heavy resistance.

Looking forward to the vintage Cathe on Friday. It has me smiling watching the previews.

Today I started off with a Heather Robertson workout for Kickboxing Wednesday. She held 2 pound hand weights throughout and so did I. Two circuits, 30 seconds on with 10 seconds of rest x 2 rounds each. It was pretty basic moves. I would consider it a more intermediate workout which was perfect because this lead into Anna's HIIT it Harder Day 17-Full Body Workout with Weights. She used 4 kg. 50 on, 10 off. Ten exercises that are then repeated. She had 2 variations of burpees in this one. I felt they were doable because of the pace. Excellent, shorter metabolic workout!

My daughter bought Winston the biggest green toy she could find.

Hah, ChelePA, that toy is ADORABLE!!!

Quick drive-by again, so busy this week, arg....I signed up for Inner Dimension and due to time constraints only did a one-hour practice, the first 'Start Where You Are' in the new Detox 30 series that loaded today. LOVED the Batman garage it was filmed in, hah!! An excellent, basic practice which was just what I needed today as I've had some doozie workouts already this week. I'm super thrilled I finally got to sign up!! Kim, did you cave yet?

More later this week if/when I get time and am not so incredibly stressed. Stay fierce, my friends!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We don't do anything to celebrate, but I did wear green.

Today was 4x4 I Am Hero 1 and like Kittybug, WHEW! I love the upper, lower, and core moves in this workout because they are different and not something I typically do. The cardio gets your heart rate way up there (or can) but they're typical HiiT moves - tuck jumps, high knees, jacks. Thanks to Kittybug's suggestion I added Double Down warm up and cool down because they are lacking in 4x4. I might eventually do more than the warm up and cool down from Double Down one day.

Bee yay for decluttering! That always feels good to let some things go. But it is an overwhelming task. Sometimes I just stare because I don't even know where to start. Good luck getting your vaccine. Hopefully you'll get a call soon or can find other locations as they seem to be expanding to CVS, Walgreens, etc. Yes, it's worth a "shot". HA! HA!

Horusosiris and KateTT hubby and I got our vaccine at The Boys practice facility. It was so well organized - I have to give BS&W plus the Star props. We were in and out of there in about 30 minutes and that included our 10-15 minute wait time. There were TONS of people getting vaccinated but it was so well run and organized there was hardly any wait and we felt totally comfortable.

KateTT I have not done any of Keith's workouts but do have one of his sets. It has a blue or green cover? Sounds like I need to pull it out! Also have RKS, which I haven't done either. And I can TOTALLY see you starting the share game. You are so generous and kind.

Kim my school has been open since August. I've been there every day since school started in August, except for the winter storm. Some of the students are in person, but most are virtual learners. All teachers are working from school, some just teach the in person students and others teach the online students. Parents can change their child's learning environment each 9 weeks. I have to teach both in person and online students via zoom because I am a specialist. I pull students from their classroom to service them. Most of my students are virtual, but there are some in person.

ChelePA I'm in (with the others) to do Cathe Step in Motion for Fun Friday. I'm going to have to make a note about the Heather kickbox workout paired with Anna's. I like doing that because of the variety but also the intensity. And Winston is such a cutie!! LOVE the pics!! So CUTE!!!

Horusosiris I don't get dressed up as much for work as I used to either. And since I've been wearing a mask, NO MAKEUP! I may keep that tradition, even when things return to "normal". And my students are much different than yours.

Fabric bands - don't have any. May have to be my next obsessive item to track and buy. Wonder why Cathe has never done a kettlebell workout? She's done everything else.

Hope I covered everything. Time to start dinner so I'll have to check back later. Hugs and waves all!

Hi Watulans!

Today I did Cathe Live #1 Bootcamp. It wasn't a "typical" Cathe bootcamp with rounds of different exercises. It was boxing drills, then heavy bag, some compound weights, lower, upper, and core. She had one half of the class on the heavy bag when the other half did upper body weights then they reversed. It must have been a whole lot of work for Cathe to keep track of it all! I liked it better than I thought I would. I then finished Kat's Advanced Step #4 (stepless). I'm giving my leg a few more days before I do step again.

Kim, thanks for asking about my leg. It's much better---maybe 95%. I'm trying to be very careful about impact, more so than before. Tomorrow I'm getting my second dose of vaccine and not only will I be walking the length of a football field x 2 but it will be raining. So it will be a test of whether my leg is healed.

Kate, I'm glad you will be able to get the vaccine. Virginia isn't open for everyone to get the shots yet, but I know it depends on the state. DH got his first shot at CVS a few weeks after I did so at least the availability is increasing.

manley, it must have been a little bit "fun" to get your shot at your team's practice facility. I think it's great that so many teams are offering space for the vaccines to be administered.

Chele, such an adorable picture of Winston!

horusosiris, I have too many work clothes particularly since I'm now not working. I need to donate them but until more people are back in offices there probably isn't much call for them.

FN1, busy times for you! Try not to overdo it!

Waves to all!

Kittybug...both you and my husband need a break from work. He is always nonstop...lots of stress on his plate too. Hoping you can relax this weekend.

Cataddict...glad to hear your leg is doing much better. Sometimes our bodies need a break. It sounds like you adjusted your workout schedule nicely. Fingers crossed for minimal side effects with your second shot.

Horusosiris...lots of clothes in our closets too that could probably be donated. Even my husband doesn't wear his office attire anymore. With Covid, he was filling in on all departments so he wore jeans daily and has continued that trend for the past year. Unless there's an important meeting.

Manleym...glad you will join us Friday. I think Bee, horusosiris and possibly Kim too

Anna's HIIT It Harder Day 18 was called Toned Upper Body. All body weight and despite it's name, it worked the core nicely too. Ten exercises, 50 seconds on with 10 off, repeated once. I am slowly getting stronger with my push-ups. I then decided to try one of Caroline's workouts from the Kettlebell Series. I did today's Day 4 Cardio Workout. It was done in supersets, repeated once with one minute of work for each exercise then 20 seconds of rest between each superset. Second exercise for every superset was a variation of a kettlebell swing. And then she finishes the routine with a 3 minute alternating hands kettlebell swings. Yikes! It definitely had a cardio effect because the weights she was using-- 16 kg and 12 kg. For those who can keep her pace with that weight...holy smokes! I was using around the same weight in pounds...haha. And many times lighter especially with that finisher. It was a nice mix of exercises that hit the lower and upper body. I've said this before but 30ish minutes is my sweet spot for Caroline. Hoping to include another one from this series over the weekend.

bee: OMG you cracked me up! Dream child...ha!! Actually my Mom would have told you that I was very good. It was just the high school years that got challenging. LOL
Best of luck on finding vaccines. Every day it seems like there are more available.

Kim: I totally remember sharing as far back as I can remember. Cathe for me tomorrow too but I'm thinking my new FitTower Bootcamp.

horusosiris: I have been decluttering a lot lately too. Throwing away a lot of junk, donating, etc. Just have too much "stuff". Clothes..junk.

ChelePA: I had Mulligan Stew and Irish soda bread for my Paddy's day meal.
My hubby hoards too and then he can never find anything. We have been missing some velcro for years now. Haha.
CUTE puppy...poor Kermit.

kittybug: Looking forward to more reviews of IDTV. When you get time. Don't forget about yourself.

manleym: I used to have RKS and always wonder if I should get it back. I only have the first Keith dvd but I see he has some downloads too. Oh oh
Another cheer for another vaccine!

cat: My brother lives near Arlington VA and is getting his shot today.

Fun stuff today. Today I pulled out Les Mills Body Combat 44. I love this one! Old (12 years) but tons of fun. There is a leg toning chapter where you do very slow controlled kicks. Some capoeira and good Muay Thai. I actually was going to do Party Rockin' Step 2 AGAIN but kickboxing called to me.

Yesterday's Yoga was from Udaya..Emily Clare Hill and Experience It All. Some challenge, lots of chill.

Not sure what today. Still leaning towards more on Udaya. Or Gaia. Or Power Yoga. See...so many choices! I haven't even pulled out my Yoga DVDs lately because of all the online choices.

Stay well everyone!! Were you as fierce as you could be today?

Hope all goes well Cataddict! Ugh on the weather and having to walk so far. Hope your leg holds up and that you have zero side effects from 2nd dose. Keep us posted.

Kittybug I'm still pondering Inner Dimensions. In my sale frenzy thinking I forgot that my husband is constantly on Youtube in the evenings. I'm not sure how our internet will do with two of us streaming at once. I have to give it more thought.

Tonight I did Chalene Johnson's Turbo Kick 37. Fun but fast. Yowza, just as quick as Turbo Fire but only 1 turbo in the workout. She did a leg strength section and some abs at the end.

ChelePA I love the pictures of wee Winston. Thanks for posting them. How did he do in puppy training? Is he a well-mannered gentleman now?

Hope everyone has a great night. I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow already.
