DDP yoga

So DH and I watched the movie "Relentless" mentioned in another thread.
He seems more interested in this than I thought he would be.
So, those of you who still use this or have someone else doing it, tell me what you like and what you notice it doing for your body/joints/etc.

He could do this 3x per week. About how long are the workouts?

Would love to share some stories with him to encourage and excite him to get back to working out. He is experiencing knee and shoulder discomfort.

Gladgirl - My DH did a long DDP Yoga rotation a few years ago. He still does them randomly.

He liked that DDP is down to earth and gives good instruction. He gives form pointers and modifications. I wouldn't say the workouts are easy though. There are some kneeling postures if I recall correctly. One would have to modify if they cause discomfort.

After 6 months of DDP Yoga, his posture was much improved. His flexibility was much improved.

And, DH still likes DDP enough to do his workouts sometimes.

I looked at the DDP site and they are having a 20% off Summer Sale:

Thank you, Cheryl.
He is willing to get the free 7 day trial and see if he can get into it.

I was looking here for the personal stories of people who would be more inspirational for him. (Not another infomercial for DDP.) Just people who have used it, are using it, and are feeling/seeing some comfort, ease of aches, etc.

I went and looked again. I like how it shows chair modifications in its own video. And not just saying do it this way. That looks real cool.

I like so many fitness sets. I just can’t commit because it’s like shoes, I want another pair even though I can only wear one pair at a time. .

I am more like you. I do have lots of sneakers, videos, etc and still look for something new. DH needs some encouragement right now and I was hoping to give him a boatload.

You will and you are. As long as he sees it as a help and not you telling him what to do. You know men. The idea has to be theirs

I found with myself I can’t keep with the planned schedules. When I have a busy day or a not so good day, I feel like I failed. So I try to do my own way because I don’t feel pressured.

I don’t know what it is, but I’m not stopping doing something. Better than taking a seat.
