Apparently she was relieved of her duties according to Pam. Doesn't sound as if they parted on good terms.

All right...

...this has been bugging me for years. Where does the Firm end and Fit Prime begin? I can never keep the two straight in my tiny little head!

I will also miss seeing Pam in any future Firm videos. Let us all hope she will read some of our support for her and do some future videos with Tamela, or Tracie. If I was to read about her making new videos I would be the first in line to buy. I still work Firm Strength into my rotation and it is one of my all-time favorites, plus I loved her in the BSS4s. Thanks, Pam.

Sue, I'm not sure how many years ago (five? more perhaps??) but Anna Benson sold the Firm before she started FitPrime, which of course is now defunct as well. The Firm went on but with some new people. Anna then got involved with the Women's Health and Fitness Network and made those 12 workouts about a year ago, but we've heard nothing since. HTH!

Pam is/was my favorite Firm instructor. She has such a calming personality and really had a way of coming up with moves that were a bit different from the Firm "same old same old" IMO. It is their loss as far as I'm concerned.

pattyr,

From your comment, it sounds like Pam choreographed her workouts with the Firm. Is that true? I was always under the impression that the instructors led the workouts, but that they were actually choreographed by someone else.

I agree...she has a very calming personality. She'd be great in a yoga dvd!

When the Bensons & Mark sold the Firm to GoodTimes, the instructors choreographed their own routines that they led. So Pam did choreograph the BSS workouts that she did. But even before then, instructors like Tracie Long and a few others helped Anna with the choreography. I'm not sure how much they helped her but I do see their names in the credits.

It's a pity but if the Firm studio is teaching yoga classes then Pam's studio would be a conflict of interest.

Hope she gets to do more workout videos.
